Undertale papyrus how to#
I would assume it’s not the latter as Undyne learned how to fight from Asgore, yet other than the initial mercy box stab with the trident and Undyne tossing spears none of their attacks are similar. It’s not clear how much of it is species/form dependent or simply because of them spending so long together/teaching their family member how to fight. Sans and Papyrus both use bones, the blue mode, light blue attacks, and Lines of moving bones acting like those constantly running platformers. Flowey / Omega Flowey / Asriel are fond of using their signature move of surrounding the heart with a circle of those spinning bullets that close in. The game does share characteristics in boss fights, Asgore and Toriel use many of the same attacks, both leading the player to an exit, requiring the player to initiate the fight with them.
